Gina Bianchini, the co-founder and former CEO of Ning, wrote a book titled Purpose: Design a Community and Change Your Life. In the book, Bianchini makes the case that creating a community around your life's purpose is the greatest way to discover it. I rate the book a two out of four and three out of five.

Three sections make up the book:

Part 1 - Finding Your Purpose
Bianchini examines purpose in this section and explains why it's significant. She also offers exercises that can assist you in discovering your own purpose.

Part 2 - Creating Your Community
In this section, Bianchini discusses how to create a community, from picking a platform to establishing ground rules. She also offers advice on how to maintain community growth and engagement.

Part 3 - Pursuing Your Goal
Bianchini talks about using your community to live out your mission in this section. She also tells tales of others who have actually done that.

In general, Purpose is a good educational read. Bianchini offers straightforward guidance on how to identify your life's purpose and create a community around it by using her own example. People who are interested in using technology to create communities will find the book to be extremely useful. The writing style could be a little engaging. The content is excellent but delivery is also important as that is what is which will make the reader pick it up and see it till the end. The book did not live up to my expectations in the delivery aspect.

The following are some of the book's most important lessons:
Finding a single thing to do with your life is not what finding purpose is about. Finding a method to live your life that is both important to you and beneficial to others is what this is all about.
Community is necessary for locating and residing for finding and living your purpose. We need support and connection from others to thrive.
Technology can be a powerful tool for building community. Online communities can provide a safe and supportive space for people to connect with others who share their interests and values.

Overall, I recommend Purpose to anyone who is interested in finding their goal in life and building a community around it.
