Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis is a little handbook for golfers on the go. I mean that in a literal sense. You will carry this around whenever you want to engage in the sport. The author also has another book, a complete guide, to be precise, for budding sports enthusiasts who are looking to learn from scratch on their own.

I have to commend the author on how well the handbook is written. There is another from the same author that has so much more detail. This book contained more of her persona than the previous one, which I read. It packs quite a lot of stuff for a small book that is less in length than your average kids’ books. The book itself is professionally edited. There were no errors that I could find. The diction is very good and easy to read. I was impressed by the personal anecdotes from the author. I really enjoyed reading this, as it was easier and not technical in anyway. It can be a problem, especially if you do not understand the sport's basics.

The author definitely has a lot of knowledge in the sport. The depth of instruction, the mind game that is to be learned, shows how immaculate it is. If you have not gone through the complete guide, which is already published, and just want to get an introduction into the strategies of being a good golfer, this is a must read. Even if you are not interested in sports at all, this still makes a good read, as the mental exercises and strategies applied for the game can actually be applied to a lot of categories and issues in our lives.

I would highly recommend Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis for any budding sportsmen who are looking to level up their game. It can be any sport. I am giving the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars for its exceptionally well edited diction and knowledge-packed insights and strategies from the author. It is a must-read for golfers.
