Kalliope Barlis's book "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" is an entertaining and useful tool for golfers of all skill levels to quickly advance in their game. Barlis brings a plethora of knowledge and original views to the book, having made the remarkable journey from amateur golfer to professional player in just two years. Her emphasis on the mental as well as the physical components of golf is a clear reflection of her training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

The three primary portions of the book—using your intellect, practicing your game, and playing your game—are smartly arranged. Every chapter is chock-full of doable tips, drills, and tactics designed to raise your game while simultaneously honing your golfing abilities. The three main components of Barlis's holistic approach—mindset, emotional regulation, and visualization techniques—are essential for reliable performance.

The book's emphasis on mental training is among its most notable elements. Barlis introduces readers to NLP strategies that can be used to build a focused, optimistic mindset on the course, anchor positive experiences, and help erase bad shots from memory. This emphasis on mental game preparation is a welcome change from traditional golf instruction, which frequently concentrates only on physical mechanics.

Despite its wealth of information, not everyone will find the book appealing. For people who are not aware of or dubious of psychological tactics in athletics, the strong emphasis on NLP may be a turnoff. Furthermore, even though they are practical, some of the exercises could take some practice and patience to get the hang of, especially for newcomers.

The book is easy to read and delightful because of its superb editing, which leaves no room for errors. Because of the writing's lucidity and Barlis's inspirational style, readers will find it easy to understand and put the strategies covered into practice.

All things considered, I give "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" 4 out of 5 stars. It is an excellent tool for golfers who want to enhance both their mental and mechanical aspects of the game. The book's heavy emphasis on NLP, which not everyone will find compelling, is the only thing deducing a point. However, for those who are willing, the book provides a thorough, revolutionary approach to improving one's golf game.
