Launching a startup business, though exciting, is not an easy journey, as one encounters several challenges, such as cash flow management, stiff competition, leadership and management issues and marketing and sales of the products or services provided. Luckily, Husam S. AlSaleh, who has been in the business world for twenty years, helps young entrepreneurs understand what they need to do to overcome these challenges and learn tips and secrets to guarantee success in their businesses.

The book explores various essential concepts, such as identifying a problem and finding solutions, whether the business you want to venture into will be sustainable in the future, how to build a framework and understanding your customers and resources that will set you up for success. The most crucial aspect that helps entrepreneurs stand out in this business world is having, or rather crafting, a strategic framework map that guides them to the goals or targets they wish to achieve. This is helpful because it gives them a clear idea of where they want to go in the future.

The real-life experiences that Husam S. AlSaleh shared with the readers in The Successful Business Startup Action Guide were what I found most appealing. An example is when he became the CEO of his family business, selling new cars and operating a vehicle service center. Though he has no goals or strategy, he continues to manage the business, only to end up in one struggle after another. Later, he meets Vinny Lo Cicero, who introduces him to a program that helps him learn how to avoid mistakes and make better decisions. Readers can learn about the strategies the author employed and found effective and those that were significantly unsuccessful. As a result, this will help readers implement what has worked and avoid those that have not.

There is nothing I liked the least about the book. Rather, I admire that the author has had mentors in his journey to becoming an experienced businessman. His father and Dr. Rebecca Homkes are among his mentors, who have advised and mentored him. Entrepreneurs, therefore, learn the importance of having established mentors in their fields. These mentors assist them by providing invaluable guidance and expertise since they have seen and gone through a lot on their way to success. They help them in strategic planning and goal-setting, enabling them to succeed.

The book is exceptionally well edited since I encountered no grammatical errors or mistakes while reading the entire book. I award the book a full rating of five out of five stars for the incredible information that will help young businessmen and women know why their businesses are failing and what they need to do to achieve desired results. Therefore, I recommend this book to readers struggling with their businesses, those who want to start one and those who want a new direction for their businesses.
