Snatched Up to Heaven! By Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is a remarkable story about two young girls and the dreams they shared together. A truly beautiful image of heaven, Jesus, and God is created through these little girls’ experiences. They also shared their experience with Jesus in Hell and how sad and scary it was.

I must admit, I had doubts that a 2- and 4-year-old would be capable of telling such a story. It seemed improbable. But, after viewing the videos provided in the book’s links, I am convinced. This isn’t an exaggerated story created by their parents. You can see in the videos that they are sharing their story, like any other child, with their mother. Nothing looks scripted or rehearsed. I feel that the book accurately captured their experiences, adding nothing to them. It's a great book to read alone or with your children. Although this book is short, it has a lot of content to think about.

Heaven won’t be truly known until we arrive, but everything these girls shared was in line with verses from the Bible. What an incredible experience these two sisters got to share together! I feel their parents deserve praise for taking the time to listen to them. It’s very easy to dismiss children and not take them seriously. Children are used by God for his purposes just as much as anything else in the world. We are called to have childlike faith. To be able to share in this experience of heaven and God, we get to see it through the eyes of children, not marred by adulthood.

My rating for this book is 4 out of 5. The girls’ stories are divided into small parts and compared to verses in the Bible. I appreciated this format, but I felt like this was more of a book for fact-checking. I would have preferred to have read it like a story first and then had the Bible comparison added after.
