I used to hear stories of people who would go to any length to make sure that a missing loved one was found, dead or alive. This is no different for Ruth, the wife of Frederick David Nachman (Freddie), who was the president and CEO of Nachman International Trading Corporation (NITC). Freddie had gone to Nigeria on business and was reported missing. His wife was devastated, and she was willing to do all it took to get him back. This led her to ask for the help of a law firm that has been with their firm for a while. The law firm sent Richard because he was just returning from Nigeria and might be the only one who is current on the political affairs of the country and its situation to find a missing person. Will Richard succeed in this mission?

First, I want to say that the way the author described the people he worked with was awesome! Reading this book made me realize that a good team is better than a thousand shallow followers. I loved Bosede for all the ways he was helpful and professional, and I was totally grinning during the incident with Nwando. As tough as anyone can be, the smile of a young lady can always melt the heart. The attention to detail in describing the airport experience was something else I loved about the book.

It was interesting to read about the tension that existed between the major ethnic groups in Nigeria because of the civil war that had taken place. This war, which pitted the secessionist state of Biafra against the Nigerian government, left a mark on the country's economy and people, and the tension was still visible. Richard understood this very well, and occasional comic relief was thrown in about it, especially concerning the Montecristo cigar that he was given.

I recommend this book to readers who like books that offer more than just a gripping storyline. Quest: Finding Freddie by Thomas Richard Spradlin looked into a moment in Nigerian history, showing linguistic diversity and cultural immersion in storytelling. The author's knowledge of Nigerian culture and history was evident, making the book both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. If you are interested in such a storyline, then I recommend that you get a copy of the book for yourself. The book was professionally edited, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars because I disliked nothing about it.

This review has me intrigued! I like how you emphasized the professional editing—nothing takes me out of a book faster than bad editing. It’s great to know this one is so well put together.

Fantastic review! The way you described the balance of history and suspense is impressive. The mention of political forces shaping the characters’ fates has piqued my interest—I might just have to grab a copy!

Your review makes *Quest: Finding Freddie* sound like a must-read for history lovers. I’m especially drawn to the way you highlighted the role of Nigerian history in shaping the plot. I’ve been on the fence about it, but this review might tip me over.

Such a detailed review! The way you described Richard’s encryption strategy and the immersive details about Lagos airport makes this book sound really interesting. I’m curious to see how the mystery unfolds.

The way you broke down the historical aspects and the personal drama in the review makes the book sound well-rounded and fascinating. I wouldn’t have thought to pick this up, but now I’m intrigued.
