Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis

'Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book' is a guidebook for golfers by former golf player, acupuncturist and Celebrity Phobia Relief Expert Kalliope Barlis. I was lured to select this book as renowned golf coach Chuck Hogan wrote a praiseworthy foreword for this book.

This book provides impactful guidance to all golf players who want to maximise their potential. The author speaks of optimising mental power to improve performance rapidly. She mentions the use of human senses to feel golf inherently and comprehensibly. She advises to always maintain a positive approach while practising. According to her, meditative and purposeful practice can make a player a pro in his or her field.

The author’s approach is scientific as it is based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). This book will be able to enhance one’s focus, visualization and mental readiness. Barlis also discusses different techniques and strategies in detail. The use of diagrams and illustrations in the appendix part makes this guide for golf players. She refers to the LPGA (The Ladies Professional Golf Association) which is an American organization for female golf players.

I was greatly influenced by the author’s precise as well as clear way of narration. Her instructions are easy to comprehend and follow. She did not overburden her book with unnecessary details rather used short points, diagrams and pictures to make everything crystal clear.

Though Barlis herself was a golf player in her twenties, she did not mention any personal experiences. It could provide much more sincerity to her book.

Otherwise, the book is professionally edited and I could not find any typo while reading. I would like to give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because of its genuineness in helping golfers. I would like to recommend this book to all golf players who want to enhance their efficiency through effective controlling of mental strength.
