Frederick David Nachman (Freddie) was the president and CEO of Nachman International Trading Corporation (NITC). He was a Swedish national but lived in the US. He and his wife, Ruth, were members of the Jewish community. He had gone to Lagos, Nigeria, on a business deal and was reported missing. His wife, Ruth, was distraught and sought the help of a law firm that they had been working with for years. Being that Richard was a general partner at the law firm and had just returned from a business trip to Nigeria, his firm sent him on a mission to find Freddie. Will the author succeed at this? Who is responsible for Freddie's disappearance? Find out all these when you read Quest: Finding Freddie by Thomas Richard Spradlin.

The author's narration of the events in this book is truly mind-blowing. They have an innate talent for not only recounting the happenings but also skillfully weaving in the emotional responses and reactions of the various people involved. This multi-layered approach allowed me to become fully immersed in the story, feeling the undulating waves of sentiment experienced by those involved in the case as each new situation unfolded. I found myself being emotionally involved when Nwando told the story of how she came to become a sex worker in Lagos. It was most painful for me because I have a friend who underwent such an ordeal. What happened to the thugs was a perfect reward for them, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Richard surprised me with his preparedness and the way he handled the mission. The way he treated everyone he encountered was what I loved most in this book. I really admire him for this. There was absolutely nothing about this book that I disliked, and it is my pleasure to rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The book was professionally edited, and I recommend Quest: Finding Freddie by Thomas Richard Spradlin to anyone interested in reading about post-war Nigeria and how life in Lagos, Nigeria, can be.

The subject of the book sounds interesting and I think the author did a good job of painting it. It sounds interesting and I am interesting to find out if he would succeed. Your review was amazing. I enjoyed reading it. Keep up the good work.
‘When you do a good deed, people are grateful, and that creates a nice feeling inside you; and then because it feels good, that makes you want to do more good deeds. That repetition is the cycle of goodness.’
