Review of Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success
Breaking the Mold: Remodelling Your Way to Success by Fabian Videla is a nonfiction novel that has 35 chapters and gives insights on various ways to achieve success. The story explains how the author began his journey to success, from working in his uncle's vineyard to starting his own business and running a large company. It clarifies the difference between having a job and having a business. The novel tells us it is better to have a business because of its guaranteed work progress if the owner is not present. Recognising opportunities at hand and focusing on making profits are emphasized. Having differentiators in a business eliminates the problem of price competition, which may lead to business failure and eventually closure. Giving up should never be an option in running a business; however, the owner should always have a strategy to overcome tough economic times. It emphasises knowing the right customers for the right products and also acquiring a legal entity such as insurance covers and licenses to run a business smoothly.
The novel further encourages business owners to consider their families before work. And the importance of working as a couple and setting up a demarcation between family matters and business. Focusing on making customers happy should be the key to bringing and maintaining customers, with creating a good online reputation as a way of gaining trust from customers as well as marketing the business. It is important to always pay yourself in business in order to keep a clear record of profits. Maintenance of good social and business networking is crucial.
I really liked the novel because it was educational; I could feel myself having an entrepreneurial mindset. The novel really offers beautiful insights on various ways to start and run a business. The novel is professionally edited, and the various examples used make it an amazing novel to read. The various lessons offered at the end of each chapter make for a fantastic novel to gain business insights. I enjoyed reading the book, and there was nothing to dislike about the book because of its professional editing and the fact that it was educational.
I give the book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 on a scale of 0 to 5, because it's an amazing story and plot with professional editing. And because of the relevant examples used that are insightful.
I highly recommend the novel to everyone who is a business-oriented or profit-oriented person and to businesspeople who have had business failure and closure due to ineffective business plans because they can have so many lessons to learn in order to keep a healthy business and earn more profits, as well as maintain and keep their customers happy and satisfied.
