God knows everything because He is powerful. He is all-knowing and He is everywhere. A little lie is sin. But, why we make sins? When did it happen? A refreshing reexamination in the Garden of Eden will help understand. Who Told You that You were Naked? This book tackles about sin and God's love. Why did God ask Adam and Eve when He knows everything?

William Combs will help us comprehend God's question on our first parent. He is the author of this book and published under Carpenter's Son Publishing. He is a retired presbyterian minister and this book basically the outcome of his sermon. He has Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. A nonfiction book is suited for all Christian.

As Christian, we all know that sin started from Adam and Eve. How do they commit sin? A crafty serpent deceived Eve by the serpent's convincing word. Do you ever wonder, why the serpent made Eve the first victim and not Adam?

After the fall, Adam and Eve were punished by God. God vanish them away from the Garden of Eden. And, in order to have food, they will toil for it. What will be the solution to save us from sin? Sin multiplied from Adam and Eve to their children. Then, all human beings are subject to sin.

"God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27 ESV) Why was the perfect creation of God marred by sin when He created us in His own image? God's gift for all of us is our own free will. He doesn't make us like a robot. He gives us free will to exercise wisdom. In every decision without consulting God results to failure. Why? It is because our mind is limited yet our God is infinite.

Combs elaborated God's redemptive action which made me like this book. No one can save mankind except by God alone. God's love never ends and His grace prevails. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh to shed blood for all mankind. He is the promise seed by God to crush the serpent's head. Jesus Christ is the solution to save humans from sin. How? Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe that Jesus is God. Confess that you have sinned and cannot save yourself. Bear in mind! "Indeed under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." (Hebrews 9:22 ESV)

Testimonies are included to prove that God is working behind. The topics made me excited to keep on reading it. There are some spelling error but it does not distract me. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The reader will learn a lot on this book. Some point of his example I don't agree but I understand when I finished reading the book. The reader might confuse about killing an animal before the fall but as you keep on reading, you will understand the author's point. This book is easy to understand even if it is an elementary student.

Hi, readandsmile! Welcome to OBC! I like your avatar (are you from Koala country?) and name (proves that you enjoy reading).

I assume you are a faithful Christian. Your review shows it. I am Catholic and can only hope I am faithful too. I laud authors who find creative means of sharing the faith.

I hope to read more from you and smile too.

I really enjoyed reading the book. I love animals and I haven't seen a Kuala yet. I'm hoping that someday I can see a real Kuala.

I also read this book and found it encouraging. Your quote:
God's gift for all of us is our own free will. He doesn't make us like a robot.
is very true, and explains so much about why the world is the way it is. But there is hope!
