The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi

"The Unfakeable Code" is a motivational book by the renowned TEDx speaker, leader, and public figure Tony Jeton Selimi. Due to my inclination towards motivational books, I happily picked up this book.

In this book, the author shows us how to excavate the true self and explore our hidden power. The word ‘unfakeable’ means it can’t be faked. Here, he wants us to dig into our minds, eliminate our insecurities, exhibit our true nature and potential,
and discard the masks we show towards society. He also talks about five principles for leading an authentic life without deceit.

The author himself went through a self-learning process to achieve success and now he is actively involved in helping others through his counsels, speeches, and books. He shows how our inner fear of revealing our vulnerabilities makes us mask our authentic selves. But showing true identity brings appreciation and love from others. An authentic person can identify others’ true personalities more accurately.

He openly speaks about his healers and those whom he helped. He has dealt with various mental disorders, like ADHD and OCD, and guides us on how we can fight against them. He speaks about the COVID-19 pandemic and creates awareness of how to cope with depression during such conditions.

Emotional insecurity or imbalance leads us to become introverted and also to unhappy relationships. Moreover, it makes us choose certain food habits without concerning our bodily needs. He prudently advises his readers to note their problems and actively search for the answers to be their healers. I like the boldness with which the author has navigated the message to his readers. In search of our real face, his prescribed paths are poignantly practical and well explained.

Though Tony Selimi does his best to unmask our true selves, sometimes the plot is too dragging to keep the readers pivoted. Otherwise, this book is professionally edited and I cannot find any remarkable error. I like to give it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars as it fails to build a compact reading experience. I recommend the book to those who want to unleash the power of the authentic self through those five principles.
