The Unfakeable Code® by Tony Jeton Selimi is borne out of the author's struggles, which he has overcome to become a globally successful author by improving or upgrading mindsets for a successful and fulfilling life.

The book outlines five principles which are straightforward to follow and are explained in detail. You’ll likely be reading this book to bring about a positive change in your life.

Our lives have never been so complex, from the amount of information we consume daily, communication online, the peer pressure of social media and the complex and conflicting expectations of our personal and professional lives. In the post-Covid world, where change is the only constant, it's clear that so many have lost sight of their true selves. This book will help navigate the mindset masks we use to fit in and get on. What you learn about your unfakeable code will improve relationships, productivity and enjoyment of life.

Each chapter asks searching questions to help you find your true self, understand your motivators and fear factors and explore the people and events that trigger you. Reading this book has helped me understand and reconsider my responses to situations and reconnect with myself. This book considers all our different roles and is equally relevant regardless of your industry, seniority, or role. Upgrade your mindset as often as you upgrade the apps on your phone!

The book begins with 15 pages of reviews, which is to the detriment of the book's flow and attraction for the reader in the opening pages. The initial impression of the book would be improved either by reducing the number of reviews or moving them to an appendix to get into the content straightaway.

While the narrative of the book is comprehensive, the lack of a diagram or visual model of the five principles limits the ability of the reader to recall and apply the principles from the book in a holistic way. A simple diagram highlighting each principle for the corresponding chapter would significantly improve the ability of the reader to use the learning.

The author does helpfully refer to other works the reader can refer to for extended reading.
