Unemployable by Alysia Silberg is a great blend of self-help, career guidance, and autobiography that helps and motivates you and pushes you to grow and work on yourself. This book talks about the fascinating journey of a South African-born entrepreneur, investor, and AI expert. She is known to be an absolute powerhouse in the global tech arena. She holds the great title of UN Women Global Champion.

The book's main focus is on how failure is also a part of success. how you can create immense value wherever you go, how you should level up your business by adapting to the environment, and how you should not think of failure as an end and focus on making more efforts.

The book is written in an engaging and relatable style that will keep you hooked on the book till the end. I personally, as an entrepreneur, liked the fact that this book is written by such a successful writer, which leads me to the fact that the book is full of real-life experience and how the author has described their every success and failure as a part of their learning, and I think that is a beautiful concept that will help me a lot in my career too. The book also features the contribution of renowned venture capitalist Tim Draper, who was also an early investor in renowned companies such as Tesla and SpaceX. That, I think, gives this book great value.

While the book talks about some very huge topics, I find it very interesting how the author has kept it very practical and handy. I like the author's uplifting and inspiring stories of overcoming adversities and achieving success. Silberg delves into the transformative power of AI and how it impacts our daily lives, but in my opinion, some readers might feel the book oversimplifies the issue of AI development and implementation. The writer has done a great job in writing this book because I found no typos or grammatical errors in the book. The book has flawless editing. I think that it is an autobiography; the author's personal story may not relate to all. The book provides you with great advice for business, but if you are looking for a step-by-step guide, it's not for you.

Rating:
I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. 1 star for clarity of topic; 1 star for simplifying hard-to-understand topics such as AI; 1 star for the real-life experience given in the book; 1 star for the real-life approach to the topics; 1 star was deducted because of a lack of explanation of some topics, such as AI, that could have been explained better.

Overall, this book is an inspiring and insightful piece of work. I would recommend this book to people of high aspiration, such as businessmen and investors, and to those who are young and aspiring to start their own company and need something to read.
