The Way of the Goddess is not simply a self-help book; it unites ancient wisdom, vulnerability, and tools for modern transformation into an intricate tapestry. Ananta Ripa Ajmera leads the readers through nine days of the archetypal Hindu goddesses during Navratri; it is more than just another run-of-the-mill self-improvement book. Each chapter shines a light on a different facet of the feminine divine: inner strength from fierce Durga, creative wisdom in Saraswati’s whispers, and wealth radiating the grace of Lakshmi.

Besides advocating for empowerment, Ajmera describes these goddesses through anecdotes and myths. Parvati vulnerability is what we all live with, yet Saraswati melody recalls our artistic longings. It is not a dull academic book; it’s a conversation with a wise friend who makes us see our goddess. Readers are encouraged to return to their liberated inner warrior and struggle against the societal mandates that require conformance by embracing power, resiliency, and creativity as innate feminine virtues. It’s not a case of slavery to convention—we are restoring your birthright as a ferocious, courageous, and uncompromising woman.

Nevertheless, the book is not without its reservations. But the book might be too much for those who are not acquainted with Hindu mythology or rituals. Additionally, Ajmera’s personal story sometimes dominates the general use of goddess archetypes.

For those who desire to regain their divine feminine nature, “The Way of the Goddess” is a revealing handbook. It is a book to not rush through but to savor peacefully, providing an insight into the discovery of oneself. From my perspective, the editing is excellent. As I read this book, I did not find any mistakes in it, and all the parts of this book were interesting to me. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Ananta Ripa Ajmera will walk with you on this path of transformation if you are ready to embrace your own divinity and dance not merely in their shadows but to celebrate the light. This book gives you the weapons and knowledge necessary to win even the fiercest wars.
