In "The Beautiful Business," the author Steven Morris offers a unique perspective on business often overlooked by traditional business gurus. Morris skillfully guides readers through the intricacies of business with brilliance, courage, and grace, addressing both challenging and uplifting aspects. The book is crafted to support and nurture business leaders who sense that their endeavors could be more impactful and significantly more valuable.

One of the author's core convictions is the belief that if a business is worth pursuing, it should be approached with heart and soul. Morris employs a persuasive writing style, effectively incorporating his opinions, justifications, and evidence to support his claims. Throughout the book, he introduces a variety of metaphors that liken business leaders to artists, makers, or gardeners, showcasing the creative aspects of their roles.

The author also employs a descriptive writing style to vividly depict imagery, creating a clear mental picture for readers and establishing an emotional connection by appealing to their senses. Additionally, Morris integrates occasional quotes from different authors, along with pictures and drawings, providing moments of relaxation for the reader while delivering impactful teachings.

Professionally edited and free of notable writing errors, the book is well-crafted. However, it's worth noting in the editing process the use of foreign words or expressions in the English language without marking them as "foreignisms." A more judicious application of this approach could enhance readability. Nevertheless, the presence of foreign terms such as “du jour” does not negatively impact the understanding of the book's essence.

Personally, there is nothing to dislike about "The Beautiful Business." I passionately recommend it to anyone interested in learning about starting and maintaining a business structure resilient through challenging market times. The book maintains a commendable absence of swear words or profanity throughout its content. I am pleased to give this book a rating of 5 out of 5.
