In the book, Consciousness Unbundled, the author, Jack Veffer, discussed the connection between the soul, consciousness, and the body. He also discussed the concept of the universe being made out of energy or how it has energy in several ways. The author also greatly elaborated on the vast differences between consciousness and their body. The author suggested that in order to have complete control of your life, you must be fully consciousness of your consciousness because it will have an impact on the amount and type of energy you draw from the universe, which will greatly impact your quality of life. He described the body as a “vessel” and that it is vastly different from our consciousness. He described that the body acts as a vessel to carry our consciousness. The author also detailed concepts like how the body interacts with the soul, and how the human brain generated consciousness.

Overall, I thought the book was full of interesting information, and I feel as though I learned a lot from it. I liked how the author differentiated between consciousness, the soul, and the body. I also enjoyed how the author advocated for the importance of training the brain to become stronger just like people train the body’s muscles to become stronger. I was also impressed with the way the author explained the meaning of human existence and the great importance of sharing knowledge that each person collects during their personal life experiences. He discussed in great detail how sharing knowledge helps to advance human civilization and helps us become more sophisticated.

Even though I did like the book, there were some aspects that I did not like about it. The book did not grab my attention like other books have before. I constantly found my mind and attention drifting to other things while I was reading. I do not usually get bored while reading, but this time I was bored at times. I believe this was due to the type of terminology utilized within the book. The terminology was written at a level that was difficult to comprehend at times, and this made it difficult to understand what I was reading. Oftentimes, I had to reread sections of the book to understand what was being said. I think the book would have been better if the author wrote it in simpler terms and broke down some concepts for easier understanding.

I would rate this book three out of five stars for the reasons I stated above. I did not find any grammatical errors or typos within the book. This is a testament to the exceptional editing that was completed to the book.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about the nature of consciousness, the mind, and the body and how these affect human life.
