The stealthy viral pimpernel by Bernard Heys is a wonderful autobiography of the author, an aeronautic engineer, a systems engineer and mathematician as well as a media of criticism against the UK government during the Boris Johnson regime.

After being on hemodialysis for roughly eight years, he wondered why the so-called 'dialysis' was not made a life changing disease as he believed it changed his life completely, this was where his journey started on supporting all dialysis related issues even after the incident of COVID-19 which he extensively blames the UK government for the losses and damages caused, most especially Boris Johnson.

This book is actually the very brilliant type, although I must admit it doesn't seem beginner-friendly at all, due to the writer's diction (choice of words),his use of words that are so complicated and probably complex, in fact I almost would have lost my way in the book if not my science background. Asides this fault, I really think its a book every library, hospitals, offices and even homes should have. I honestly recommend that because you know the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover" only that this is "by its beginning". Later I started enjoying the book as I read on, which happened because I gave myself the chance to want to learn more.

Nevertheless, the book is really educative as it taught me a lot of things especially what to do in a crisis situation such as that of COVID-19 for example, this book will definitely help you know how to detect, avoid and stop viral infections and so more. I was also enlightened on the silly mistakes the government made during these periods. So by that I will be giving this book a 3 out 0f 4 and a 4 out of 5 starts for one main reason, there are certain complex words that could get in the way of understanding for the reader, in other words, the writer's choice of words just like I said in the beginning. I feel the author should have chosen a more reader-friendly set of words not words that seem to come all the way from the nerdy zone, you get what I mean. I recommend this book for ages 18 and above, because I believe it has a great impact on our daily life.
