In Snatched Up To Heaven, the author shares her children’s dreams and visions of Heaven and Hell. Throughout the book, direct words from her two daughters are shared, detailing the structure and intricacies of Heaven and Hell. Accompanying are Bible scriptures to back up these recounts. Due to the young age of the children giving these accounts, childish language is used in the sections using their own words, so the author included her own interpretation of what her children were saying. This, in conjunction with the Bible verses supplied, lends credibility to the visions and helps to illuminate their message to the reader. The appendixes at the end add further credibility through pictures and audio recordings of the children’s visions.

The book was a refreshing read. In addition to showing people a detailed, biblically accurate heaven, it urges believers to continue to spread the word of God so as to spare unbelievers from a horrid Hell. Hell is also described in the book and set up as the perfect opposite of Heaven. There’s even a comparison table of the two. This is a book I would recommend to both believers and non-believers, though it is better suited to Christians.

I managed to learn about the Bible from this book through the included scriptures. There was also plenty of information about the Bible’s account of life after Earth in Heaven and Hell. The interpretations of the author provided valuable insight. However, some inclusions seemed to deviate from accepted biblical truths. For example, the mention of there being people in Hell currently, while it is widely accepted that after death people simply sleep while awaiting Judgement Day.

Notably, while reading this book I found no typos or grammar errors. Once I accounted for the childish language necessary to stay true to the children’s words, I saw it as a well-written book. It was also a short read; I was able to finish it in one sitting. Overall I rate it a 4 out of 5
