The novel 3 Sisters 3 Weeks 3 Countries (Still Talking), written by Elizabeth Moore Kraus is a true-life story. When three sisters, Elizabeth, Leslie, and Laurie, were in their sixties, they went on a vacation that lasted for three weeks, and they visited three countries. In their childhood, these three sisters lived in southern California, but on this vacation, they visited Ireland, England, and Scotland. A sister oversaw a country: Elizabeth for Ireland, Leslie for England, and Laurie for Scotland. These sisters had distinct personalities, which led to several disagreements in their younger days, but in this book, these sisters decided to come together again to have an adventure. Read this book to find out what awaited these sisters on their vacation.

My first impression when I found out the sisters were in their sixties was that this book was about a bunch of old women and it wouldn’t be fun, but I was wrong. I think the author is an excellent storyteller. I learned that it’s better late than never to do the right thing. It is impossible to be totally like someone else in personality or preference, but this shouldn’t hinder unity, especially among families.

Leslie feared traveling by air, yet she agreed to go on this vacation with her sisters. I think people show love in different ways, some with words, and some with actions. The book had photographs, which made it interesting for me. The three sisters were quite beautiful, even in their old age. I noticed no errors while reading this book. It was flawlessly edited.

This book was a bit too bulky for me, and at a point, I got tired of reading it. I think some things could have just been summarized or shortened to make the book shorter.

I give this book a four out of five stars rating. I enjoyed reading it but would have preferred it to be less lengthy. I like how organized these sisters were on the vacation; it showed their willingness to be there. I like how the book was written in dialogue and not just the author's monotone. It made me consider doing something like this with my sibling, but I doubt we would be as organized as they were. I like how honest this book was.

I recommend this book for adults who have siblings. It would be a good trigger for those without time for their siblings because they are now busy with their new family. Younger siblings, too, can read this book to get an idea of having an awesome vacation.
