Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, written by Kalliope Barlis, is a valuable addition to any player's golf bag. Barlis covers a wide range of essential topics for every level of golf player to help enhance their game and achieve better results on the course. While Barlis briefly covered all the valuable topics, the overall content could have been more compelling and explored to a much greater depth.

This book is concise and written in a user-friendly format. The straightforward manner makes it easy to add to your golf bag and access it anytime in your next game. Barlis has done an excellent job of presenting the content in a clear and straightforward manner, making it easy to absorb. The book covers a wide range of topics, including swing mechanics, short-game techniques, course management, mental strategies and many more.

Barlis manages to cover a wide range of topics; however, most are only skimmed over, leaving the reader wanting more detailed explanations and guidance. The lack of depth prevents the reader from truly understanding and implementing the techniques discussed. The illustrations and diagrams were rather vague and did not provide the level of clarity I was hoping for. They felt like generic images and did not add more value to the explanations. I would have appreciated more detailed visual aids to understand better the techniques being described.
I also found a lack of advice about how to implement the techniques into practice. Barlis does include some helpful, practical drills; however, I found they are too few and far between. Hands-on exercises are crucial for improving one's golf game, and the limited number of drills provided in this book left me feeling unsatisfied.

I rate this book 2 out of 5 stars. I gave this rating as even though it covers a wide variety of topics and would be easy to carry around in a golf bag, the information in this book ultimately did not add any solid practical tips or advance my golf game.

Overall, I found Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book fell short of my expectations. While it covers a wide range of topics, it needs to go more in-depth to provide a well-rounded guide. I would recommend this book to other golfers only to add to different guides. As it says in the title, it would go great in a golf bag!
