Scientists are making new and exciting discoveries almost every day, but a lot of the mysteries of the universe are completely unfathomable and unattainable. How do matter and the mind connect, and how can we feel emotions from sound? If you have ever been under the stars and wondered how everything pieces together or the rationality of the human mind, this book is an excellent starting point.

This book contains three parts, with the author starting with part one by analyzing basic human senses and explaining that senses are like waves. He also reasons that human curiosity is limited; we like to know what objects are and do, but the mechanics are something we are not necessarily intrigued by.

I like how the author simplifies topics and conveys them to the reader. I particularly like the use of a poem to explain time. The subjects range from senses to string theory, astrophysics, and religion. The flow of the book is excellent, from starting with basic human behavior to death and our belief system, and every topic has been so well written and explained that I found myself reading the whole book in one sitting.

I am fascinated by this book. The theories are very well proposed and expertly explained. The layout of the book is excellent; it is well thought out and planned, and it was a joy to read. The chapters and sub-chapters help with keeping track of which topic the author is discussing.

I lost track of how many sentences and paragraphs I highlighted that fascinated me. I found myself learning so much, and I feel it would be so enlightening and rewarding to have a conversation with the author.

This book has been expertly edited, as I could not identify any grammar errors. I have nothing negative to say about this book or the author and therefore rate UNUM: Infinity and Eternity by Rudy Ernst 5 out of 5 stars.

Books that are both captivating and fantastically written are few and far between. If you have any interest in the workings of the universe or how matter and belief connect, this is definitely a book for you. Religion is a topic in part two of this book, and the author does compare believers and non-believers, so if that is something that is going to bother you, I do not recommend reading it.

This is a fantastic book, well-written, edited, and interesting. I am definitely going to be reading this book again, and I hope to see more from this author.
