The compelling autobiography "A Dream for Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah recounts his life's events, from the hardships of colonial Algeria to his significant diplomatic efforts. The story highlights Berrah's tenacity and commitment to justice while illustrating his steadfast commitment to his vision of an independent Algeria. The memoir also covers Berrah's diplomatic career, emphasizing his extraordinary efforts to bring about peace and reconciliation in Africa, his hard work on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and his belief that dialogue between the Arab neighbors of Israel and the Israeli people should be prioritized. Furthermore, the pinnacle of his diplomatic dedication to peace was achieved through his involvement in the independence movement.

What I found most admirable was that the author risked giving everything he attempted to do at any given time and accepted that every person is equal in God's eyes. The author strongly believed that racial segregation and counting people according to their ethnic and cultural background are inherently biased and polarizing. Berrah's personal experiences as an ambassador offer priceless insights into the intricate realm of international relations. His inspiring and instructive tale sheds light on the challenges and triumphs of pursuing global peace. Everyone should embrace Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's excellent ideas regarding interfaith harmony after reading about his life.

One touching part of the book is the bonding between President Boigny and Dr. Berrah. The depiction of their loving bond revealed the depths of our unbridled desire for world peace and communication. Another noteworthy instance is his intense love for his wife. Their support, love, and trust for each other were beautiful to read.

There is nothing I disliked about this book. Hence, I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found this book to be professionally edited, as I didn't find a single error in it. Overall, it is a great autobiography about the life of a man who devoted his whole existence to promoting harmony and peace in the world.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about politics, diplomacy, and spirituality.
