UNUM: Infinity and Eternity attempts to encourage the readers to leave the ceaseless quest in answering the mystery of life and look at the bigger picture through the demonstration of the overcomplexities of the scientific approach and the justification of all religious beliefs. It elaborates the inconsistencies and contradictions on multiple scientific theories and concepts and highlights the simplistic nature of belief as the more stable approach to life. It challenges the scientific process and the different branches of science from biology, chemistry, physics, and etc. Afterwards, UNUM: Infinity and Eternity tackled death and the afterlife in relation to the diverse approaches of the different religions. UNUM: Infinity and Eternity hopes to impart to its audience that overcomplication of life may lead to unfulfillment and that going back to basics and the simplistic approach will lead to a happier and more stable life as the religious people often experience more than atheists.

UNUM: Infinity and Eternity is a very ambitious attempt to approach topics that have long been debated on, all in a 70-pager book. The demonstration of the inconsistencies of different scientific theories as well as its complexities have been greatly executed. However, the same cannot be said about the religious approach which were ever slightly criticized in the book. This resulted to an obvious lack of objectivity by the author. Furthermore, the contradictions within the book were apparent as analysis were not done uniformly and some concepts were misemployed. Several fallacies may also be observed within the book as well as debatable claims that were not supported enough by solid references. On the other hand, the summary of the scientific concepts was excitingly done and allowed the reader to grasp the ideas easily. Likewise, the message that the book was trying to convey was good and would have come across more clearly had the author been more consistent.

I am rating the book 2 out of 4 for courageously attempting to tickle the reader’s mind and touch significant life questions while intending to awaken the readers’ more accepting approach to different beliefs and perceptions despite its lack of objectivity.
