The book is alright. It has flawless editing, with grammar and spelling being perfectly put, the only exceptions being intentional misspellings (like in sulls). I like how the author made sure to use her daughters’ own words to describe the dreams, and only then putting her interpretation of them. Although I’m not much religious, I liked the book because it has good readability; it’s easy to go through this book because the words chosen are simple to understand, the book doesn’t get tiring and I could read it in only a few days. If I had more time, I could have easily read it in a single sitting, and it wouldn’t have been draining. It was, overall, a fun book to read, and the biblical quotes provided good evidence for most of the author’s views and interpretations of the children’s dreams/visions. However, most of them were taken out of context in my opinion. If I were to pick up the bible, look for the passages and read before and after them, I would find the context to be different; I did that, by the way, just out of curiosity. And yes, I was right. That's why I didn't rate this book a 5/5; because there are some incongruencies with the actual meanings in the bible. Another thing was that some quotes chosen seemed to need a bit of a stretch to work in the contexts she used them. That was also a big no-no for me.
Jemima has a very nice writing style, that suits the genre she has chosen to write. She has put a lot of thought into the book, and taken her time to write it since she mentions her daughters were 2 and 4 when they had the dreams, and on the cover, they seem to be at least 6. I admire her work and dedication to her religion, and to the book itself. Though the subject is not much of my interest, the book has a message that is easy to comprehend and makes the Lord`s Word accessible to everyone. Thank you, Jemima, for the opportunity to read your book.
