Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the world has become increasingly unstable. People are more fearful of the future, unsure of what to expect and how to prepare for what lies ahead, whether it's staying at home or evacuating, and what consequences each decision may entail. The Ultimate Prepared Bug-In Guide is here to address these questions. The book provides a concise yet detailed explanation of various scenarios and the likely outcomes associated with each circumstance. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience, S. Lee offers practical and essential survival tips for a wide range of situations, from natural disasters to even a hypothetical zombie apocalypse. As we all know, the innate human drive to survive kicks in during times of crisis. The fear of the unknown and the evolution of events can trigger widespread panic during a disaster. The author lays out step-by-step prepping strategies to prepare in advance, allowing individuals to avoid getting caught in a supermarket rush or traffic gridlock while attempting to escape.

One positive aspect of the book is its originality. While numerous books focus on surviving extreme situations, such as mountain expeditions or adventures, not everyone is inclined to undertake such endeavours. However, everyone can be affected by a global pandemic or economic crisis. Therefore, this book becomes particularly valuable in such circumstances.

One aspect I didn't appreciate in the book is how the writer referred to Native Americans as "American Indians." It gives the impression of conflating two distinct cultures into a single term, which could be considered somewhat disrespectful.

In terms of rating, I would wholeheartedly give the book a rating of five out of five stars. It is impeccably edited, error-free, and genuinely enjoyable to read. I also found it remarkably useful. A few days before reading it, my region experienced an unexpected earthquake, despite not being in a seismically active area. The book opened my eyes to potential future events and prepared me to confront unforeseen challenges.

As for recommendations, I highly endorse this book for everyone, particularly those in leadership roles or responsible for a group, such as family heads or school staff. It provides comprehensive guidance on how to prepare, whether you're an individual or part of a group.
