When I chose to review this book, I wondered what had inspired the author to write it. After reading it, I discovered that the author's inspiration was a dream of peaceful coexistence. Encouraged by this noble aspiration, I embarked on the reading journey and found that I never regretted reading every single word. This book exceeded my expectations and stands out, going beyond its title. The content is so unique that the title alone might not fully convey its value to potential readers.

"A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is truly an exceptional memoir by a legendary figure. From the very first chapter, where the author shares his experiences of being born and raised in a region notorious for its recurring security challenges, to vividly portraying his father's love for hunting, the book draws the reader into a rich tapestry of personal history.

The author eloquently describes how his city and region remained outside the control of the government long after President Howari Boumediene came to power in June 1965, just three years after his country gained independence. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah also recounts the significance of football in his country and how a match loss by his home team in Ain Beida led to angry supporters blaming the referee, resulting in mass protests and vandalism.

One of the aspects I particularly appreciate is the author's elaboration on the concept of "The Call for Africa" in pages 171 to 217. In this chapter, I learned the importance of seeking help when needed, just as the President of Cote d'Ivoire called on the United States to assist in the development process in Africa. This underscores the idea that achieving equal levels of advancement can promote peace and understanding among all people.

On page 309, I read about Dr. Ghoulem's efforts to resolve conflicts between Israel and Palestine under the theme "Our Plan for Peace." I salute his exceptional service to humanity.

Honestly speaking, I find it challenging to encapsulate my thoughts about this book because it compels me to write an entire book as a review. This book undeniably reflects the actions of a man dedicated to promoting peace, not only in his country but on a global scale.

The areas I thought I'd be able to critique were impeccably executed, resulting in a compelling narrative. I couldn't find any typographical errors or issues with the writing. This book is impeccably written and can be enjoyed by readers of all backgrounds. You'll undoubtedly savor reading it.

I wholeheartedly rate it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars for Dr. Ghoulem's outstanding work, ensuring that readers have a fulfilling reading experience. This book deserves my perfect rating, and I recommend it to anyone who desires to take responsibility for peace-making, just as the author has done. A job well done.
