It is a known fact that everyone seeks to be in good health. However, in the case of a health challenge, one would seek adequate medical attention at an affordable cost. This shows that finance is important for having access to good healthcare services.

Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C explains the significance of prioritizing basic healthcare and how to manage the financial aspect of healthcare. This book teaches one about the benefits of an insurance policy and encourages one to acquire health insurance, even though it has a few setbacks. The book also gives a detailed history of healthcare and the interesting developments and changes that have occurred over the years. The book also contains information about the author’s health-related family background, as her father was a physician. At first, she did not fancy the medical field, but she later went into it. This also assisted in the knowledge gained in writing this book. The author also had her fair share of unfortunate incidents in her life. Read this book to get more details.

As regards the positive aspects of this nonfiction book, I found it to be informative and educational. I learned vital things about the evolution of healthcare practice and the recent positive developments, as well as some setbacks found in the modern healthcare system. There were also some salient points to gain from the author’s biography. The author’s style of writing is captivating and fun. A layman can pick up this book to read and would be able to comprehend it because of how the authors explained the medical terms in the simplest way possible. The book was also thoroughly proofread and edited. I did not encounter any grammatical errors.

The book was worth my time. Therefore, I would like to state that there is nothing I found in it that I would consider a setback or shortcoming. As a result, there is nothing I dislike about it.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The reason for this rating is because of the vital and quality information it contains about healthcare systems as well as healthcare providers. Another reason for this rating is that the author’s writing style was clear and simple. I could relate to it.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about healthcare systems and how they operate. I recommend this book to people in search of a good health insurance system.
