Kayla Taylor shows a true love for her children and dedication to ensuring that her child is being heard. Individuals who are seen as ‘different’ usually get treated differently, in this book it teaches you that even if you are ‘different’ you should not be treated differently and that you can still achieve the things you want to in life.

I recommend this book as it clearly demonstrates to the reader that you are able to do whatever you want to do. I enjoyed reading this book as it states the true meaning of individuality and the struggles people face.

The book is a powerful resource that is raising awareness, promoting acceptance and offers hope to those who come across this book. Taylor explains about her personal journey and expresses how emotionally she had been undervalued and misunderstood by her community.

Taylor helps to explain about learning differences and the bullying and anxiety can come from it. There is a powerful connection that comes from the way the writing is perceived.

In conclusion, ‘Canaries Among us’ is a powerful book that encourages you to realise and think about how you may act personally or how to encourage others to act appropriately with individuals who are ‘different’. This book helps to create a better society and e sours be others face their fears and be more compassionate.
