Reading the book, "Christian Life..... Connected", by Jacksel, was exhausting and frustrating at times. The writer is over-enthusiastic and delves into numerous, mostly, irrelevant narratives.

I must confess that the writer is highly knowledgeable concerning the military, flying and politics, but lacks the skill to portray his intention in the book. From its inception the intention is unclear.? Hence his writing is sporadic, disjointed and cumbersome to read. He vaguely connects his life experiences to his book's purpose. Mere mention of chronic sleeplessness due to his military engagements in the past does not suffice. It's like being in a maze for the first time or reading random cuttings from newspaper articles. More relevant focus is necessary.

I can't imagine why the title was chosen. The title is totally irrelevant and deceptive. I was expecting to read a captivating narrative based on Christian life experiences. I was sadly disappointed. I am not surprised that the writer referred to the following declaration in the book: "I believe it's important we reach out to sense and feel as much of the universe as possible". This is exactly what is reflected in his writing. He tries to achieve too much, in an inappropriate style, hence the result is mere ramblings of life experiences and vague beliefs.

As a Christian I got nothing out of the book. The basic fundamentals of Christianity is expounded in a clumsy manner. Facts merely thrown onto the pages of the book. No sincerity evident. I would say it's a disrespect to the purpose of Christianity. Christianity is definitely more than random vague, facts of the Bible. It's a lifestyle reflecting Christ. If the title was chosen to merely capture a certain audience, it fails dismally in its presentation.

It is difficult to say which audience would benefit from reading this book. As it stands with all its
inconsistencies and unfocused depictions the book clearly misses the point. "Christian Life Connected', is not what it seems. The writer is unable as an artist, to sculpture his ideas. Hence he fails to render his thoughts in an engaging manner. Ratings 2/5.
