I really liked how the author, M. Curtis McCoy, started the book by explaining his motivation behind writing it. Throughout the book, 'How To Be Successful,' the author shares valuable lessons he learned from his real-life experiences. He shares inspiring events from his own life as well as from the lives of other successful people he met.

There are some chapters about interviews with successful people. These chapters provide valuable information about their life challenges and solutions, but, to be honest, they are also a bit boring. These interview chapters could be written better. For example, the interview with the US Navy sniper who talks about the importance of loyalty, integrity, and pursuing happiness motivated me. However, as a reader, I think it could have been presented in a more interesting way.

I think I would have loved this book much more if I hadn't already read similar self-help books like "How to Win Friends and Influence People." I often found myself comparing this book to other similar books that I have read and enjoyed a lot. Many of the principles I read in this book, I had already encountered elsewhere. Nevertheless, what I liked were the real-life stories of the author himself and other successful people he met.

Overall, this book is amazing. I think it's due to my bad habit of comparing. The 27 chapters in this book beautifully explain the importance of acknowledging life challenges and adopting a proactive approach to them. The author's writing style makes complex financial topics easy to digest. In short, the tips from this book can improve both our personal and professional lives. One of the best aspects of this book is how the author speaks from personal experience, sharing his own journey of overcoming obstacles and setbacks. In this way, a reader can feel connected to the author. The lessons throughout the 27 chapters have the potential to change someone's life. My favorite chapter was Chapter 26, which focuses on developing self-discipline.
