I thoroughly enjoyed reading "In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All" by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes. I feel like this book challenges the reader about their current state of spiritual freedom by turning inwardly to search for the soul. This book also touches on self-discipline, which I think is important in doing in-depth soul searching.

The author explores spirituality to unite all people and religions. The author challenges the reader to see commonalities within people and to dig deep to evaluate who we are. He addresses this by showing that you are not defined by your name, wealth, career, education, or body type. He addresses the journey to spirituality, the Golden Rule, and finding peace within yourself.

The writing is easy to follow, and the style is formatted using a conversational flow. He repeatedly affirms his concerns for the reader and has a genuine nature. This book is usually out of my wheelhouse, but I really enjoyed it. I love how it provides a sense of inclusivity among people. I think that is especially important in today’s world.

The content of the book is very thoughtful and mind-provoking, with a lot to take in. After reading a chapter or two, I found myself placing it down to thoroughly digest what I read. I thoroughly enjoyed pondering the messages in this book. The author provides resources with quotes by reputable people, which assists the reader in understanding the love of wisdom and knowledge.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The writing is professionally edited, with no errors that I noticed. The book is well organized with an inviting cover. I would recommend this book to anyone who is searching for inner peace and wants to explore their spirituality. It was a very emotional yet enjoyable read. Thank you.
