Review of life.............connected
Life....... connected, a nice book title but with an unconstructive plot. With the title, one could think it hold a well structured plot line especially as a non fiction character but the book doesn't align with it's title and description; a non fictional story should be about the person or someone else but in this case, there were various conflicting characters and plots. It all started off just fine until suddenly it started deviating.
First I'll start with the paragraphs and punctuations. The punctuation at the prologue was really bad and doesn't align, the paragraphs doesn't align as well. Punctuations are supposed to help know when to stop and start a new paragraph but this one completely went out of line and doesn't follow appropriately.
A lot of out of context statement were made as well; for example, page 6, first paragraph; the last statement "lots of stubborn Irishmen out there. God made us that way for some reason", the context of this statement was completely out of place and doesn't follow the preceding sentences and then the second paragraph as well depicts an out of context statement. The book was shuffling around with no definite theme and direction. It all started with the protagonist, that is the main person but suddenly changed into emotional wound, and then moved to bullying and it didn't stop there but went ahead to speak about the human body, taking of sleeping pills, behavioural health facilities, mental instability and then to religion and then back to the main protagonist of the book. As if that wasn't all, it went further to deviate to history and war that were completely out of place and at the end of it all, there was no connecting factor between all of which was spoken about in the book. No connection at all.
There were no typographical error I could locate but the editing was totally off, it was poorly edited and very visible it wasn't proofread at all. The editing would have addressed the above issue but it wasn't and it makes the book very boring to read.
I will recommend that the book be properly organized and stick to the theme; if it's supposed to talk about war, then war it should be and if it's going to talk about the American history, then that it should be and above all if the book is to combine a lot of themes, then there must be a connection with all of the themes in the book instead of deviating from the main protagonist and then back to the main protagonist, it makes it confusing and totally out of context, so I'll be giving the book a one star rating.
