Breathe of fresh air! I’m more of a fiction reader so non-fiction works for me only if it is engaging enough for me and less of a lecture in my head. While I didn’t have a great impression during the first chapter, when we start talking about the author’s achievements as honestly, the whole thing felt like a drag and a brag. But with Chapter 2, as and when the methods that she has very candidly and appropriately explained, another layer unfolded and the I felt myself getting glue to the book. It felt like there was someone who was talking from a place of a lot of experience was sharing their “life hacks” with me. The tolerance to ignore some brag/ drag went higher and I start focusing on the core idea of the book apart from the fact that I was pretty hooked to read and understand the whole process and journey. Have made notes on the side and did try the strategies for a couple of days. While it was too soon to “realise my purpose”, it did help me with “mindfulness” and some me time in the middle of the chaos of my life. I love how the author has pointed out the smallest of details like oat milk latte or the detail of the stationery. Number of typos < 10.
Strongly recommended!
Would rate the book 4 out of 5.
