Initially, his dream was to become a famous acrobatic rider in his hometown, but destiny had other plans for him. Instead, he gained fame by advocating for independence, self-governance, and a united world, embarking on a challenging journey with many obstacles.

His memoir, "A Dream For Peace," covers his childhood, studies in France and the United States, his fight for liberation, and his role as a personal assistant to President Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Côte d’Ivoire. The book masterfully portrays Dr. Berrah as a seasoned diplomat, world changer, and talented storyteller. His writing skills truly shine throughout the memoir, showcasing his prowess as a wordsmith.

In the book, Dr. Berrah humbly shadows President Houphouët-Boigny, focusing on the leader's achievements rather than himself. This trait captivates the reader and demonstrates the strong bond of trust between the two. Despite facing challenges, Dr. Berrah's hope in the youth and his work toward a unified world serve as a foundation for achieving his dreams.
