In my book review, I decided to assign this particular book a rating of 3 out of 4 and 3 out of 5. The reason behind this mixed rating is that the book does offer a thought-provoking foundation, but I find the analogy it presents to be quite ambiguous. The line from the book that caught my attention states, " Money is to human experience what space-time is to the universe? It is that which allows real forces to interact and combine in Infinity, creative way."

In my humble opinion, I disagree with the analogy. Space-time has been an intrinsic part of the universe since its inception, whereas money is a human creation that did not exist a century ago. Before the advent of money, the barter system was prevalent, where goods and services were exchanged directly. Therefore, equating money with space-time seems inappropriate.

What truly matters is not money itself but the resources and goods it can purchase. Throughout history, societies have followed the system of exchanging goods and services for money, allowing them to access the resources they need. However, if there were a company or community that provided all necessary resources directly instead of using money, the purpose of money would indeed be defeated.

Money serves as a sufficient condition for living comfortably within our current economic systems, but it is not a necessary condition for survival, as the author pointed out. The fundamental needs of humans, such as food, shelter, and clothing, can be met without money through alternative means of resource allocation.

In conclusion, the book presents an intriguing premise that encourages contemplation, but I find the analogy between money and space-time unconvincing and the overall construct on money, fiat money..etc.. Money is a human invention that facilitates resource allocation, while space-time is an inherent aspect of the universe. Understanding the difference between the two is essential to grasp their significance in our lives and societies.
