The book How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy, is a sum of inspirational experiences of successful people from different spheres. From professional and personal life, you will find moral and ethical perspectives and different kinds of attitudes to face problems and build success that probably you have already heard, but here you have real-life examples to ground all the ideas and mindsets of the people that were interviewed.

It is not a flat reading, the book has a good structure with a mix of interviews and also life experiences from the author himself, who is a brave example of how things can change from top to bottom in a glimpse of an eye, but also how to overcome problems, critics, and adversities to have the life you want. The author's story of building a successful cell phone and wireless services company shows how to be a professional businessman and the way of treating customers so I also liked this business approach to complement personal growth.

The book has clear chapters that may repeat some ideas from now and then, but always with a different angle of reflection. It also talks about social behavior, the way social media has driven society's mindset and its problems. It makes you conscious of these and other social issues to have a critical and active approach to them.

It is a great book to find inspiration to reach your goals, how to approach daily life habits and commitments, self-awareness, discipline, faith, how to face personal and relationships sacrifices, and as I said before, great life examples to realize the way professional and personal success are built.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 ranking because there is nothing I disliked about it, it has a clear and simple structure, and the subtitles and chapters are easy to find and read. The author achieved his purpose with me because I had the opportunity to reflect and get inspiration for my own experiences and life plan.
