Canaries-among-us is a story where Kayla Taylor shares her experience as a mother whose child had been bullied at a private school and she tried to advocate for her child to no avail.the author expected as any parent would want the school to be on her side, but inside they tried to cover it up and attack anyone who spoke against it.

What I liked about the story is that it teaches us about bullying at schools and how bullying is being ignored at our schools.Ms Taylor writes about how her please about her child being bullied fell into deaf ears with no support from friends and the school officials she begins to research about bullying and empathy in an effort to understand why the claims of bullying are being dismissed and how to help her daughter.the book also addresses how society play a part in bullying and form of victimization our society does not know how to deal with bullying and this book is important.

Personally I feel that this book is an eye opener to us it teaches us about bullying that's happening in our schools and to know the importance of stopping bullying at our schools I would highly encourage everyone to read this book and really pay attention to it's content.i rate this book 5 out of 5
