For me, a good book has to make you feel something, and this book was so brilliantly written that I could feel the anger and frustration Kayla experienced while enduring all those bumps on the road.

Throughout the journey of Kayla's family and their experiences, I've concluded that we need to improve how we see the world and become more inclusive.

If you're looking for a personal way of learning about neurodivergence, this is your reading. The way the author just expressed her concerns and the process she used to research this important matter made me feel so welcomed and seen. This is a good option if you feel like you need to connect somehow with someone else's story about a specific subject.

Trust me when I say Hannah's journey is gonna touch your heart and you will want to change the way you behave around people you don't understand; because you can have a different way of understanding humans and their complexity, but living with a different brain and nervous system is a big challenge for neurodivergent people.

This is the first time that I have read a book with this much information about a subject, and I encourage everyone to read it, too because we as a society need to improve the way we see other people that don't "fit" into the standard version of a "normal" human being.

I do want to mention that I loved the way this book made me feel while reading it. It was a very hard reading sometimes because of all the information that it gives you, but at the same time, it was smooth. The way the author just explains everything and her written skills are amazing, and so is the edition.

I feel so happy that I've been given the opportunity to read this book and to find out it's a true gem. Just read it, you won't regret it and you will learn so much from it. I give it a 5/5 rating because of all the things I already mentioned and also because feeling all the emotions of the characters is a big deal for me, I learned about so many things and I got to experience how it feels for them all those challenges. Life-changing experience.
