My rating for this book is 4 out of 5. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to be reminded about their purpose in life. Oh my God. I got the chills so many times toward the end of this book. It completely blew my mind. It managed to surpass my high expectations and be nothing at all like I expected. It is a well written book, that will with no doubt help a lot of people. The book helps in terms of self introspection and self assessment as a way of trying to be a better person and build a better community than what we have now. It's good for mental uplifting. I love chapter 2, it's about being born in a community and being part of that community. I could relate to this chapter because in the past i used to struggle with being part of a huge crowd.. i would always isolate myself. But this book has shown me how easy it can be to be part of something that is bigger than yourself. The hype around this book has been unquestionable and, admittedly, that made me both eager to get my hands on it and terrified to read it. The problem that I had with some of the content is that some of it is easier said than done, most of the content is not completely realistic. It's more theoretical than practical. The book can definitely boost one's confidence while reading but it doesn't necessarily help one do those things in a more practical manner. That said, I had an altogether more personal, ulterior motive for wanting to read this book. It has helped me in more ways than expected.
