"A Dream for Peace", authored by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a book that chronicles the life experiences of the author. This memoir sheds light on the struggles, encumbrances, joyous moments, and remarkable moments encountered by the author and the odds he battled to achieve national freedom.

This audacious Algerian freedom fighter, Dr. Ghoulem Berah, was born in Constantine, at the foot of the Aurès Mountains, in northeastern Algeria.

Right from a young age, the author had always portrayed an anti-colonial character. In many instances and places, especially in school. As he grew older, He was able to make the fight for freedom of his nation, Algeria, a fulfillment, despite all the odds, challenges, and struggles he encountered in the course.

The demise of Berah's mother was another touching part of the story, so sudden, emotional, and pitiful that as I read, I began to feel so sad. Berrah's mother was one of the significant pillars that held him firm and set him on the right track, and he made it known that it was because of his mother that he wanted to succeed in medical studies, just to make her blissful and prove to her that her perpetual support had not been in vain. He became well known in the latter due to the dedication and determination he had. His accomplishments were noteworthy and fascinating. My favorite remark in the book is when the author states that "he had cycled the world forty times". I found no errors in this book, and with that said, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars for its impeccable editing.

The unrelenting anticolonial activism is the attitude I considered most interesting about the author throughout the book, besides that, he remained resolute in his decision to fight for independence for his country, Algeria.

Certainly, there is nothing I find dislikable about this book, rather, I was triggered by the compelling features of the book, which intrigued me in the course of reading,
and by extension, got my attention to the fullest. I recommend this book to lovers of autobiographies and freedom fighters.
