"A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an autobiography that discusses the author's diplomatic experiences in politics as well as the life he encountered as an African and Arab. The book had excellent detail and writing. I enjoyed how the author plainly discussed Algerian history and how they gained freedom from French oppressors. Berrah also described his move from science to law, which I found interesting. It was intriguing to observe him go back to science.

Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born and raised in the Algerian village of An Beda. Lalla Zebida, his mother, valued education and raised him independently. She also encouraged him to further his education when the time came. The young author moved to France to pursue his goals of becoming a doctor, but after becoming involved in politics, he joined the fight for Algeria's independence. He met Antoinette, his first wife, who was an activist like him, while going through the procedure. However, their struggle against racism and colonialism led to their imprisonment. The author enlisted in the war in Algeria, and Antoinette remained in Morocco. I liked how the book talked about Professor Mandouze and his contribution to the fight for Algerian independence. There was absolutely nothing I disliked about this book.

"A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a thought-provoking and inspiring book that delves into the complex topic of peace in our modern world. This work demonstrates the author's deep understanding and passion for promoting harmony and unity among nations. There were no typographical errors, and the book was flawlessly edited.

I give this book a maximum rating of 5 out of 5 because it gives a firsthand account of Algeria's independence from French colonization. I recommend this book to any reader interested in African history and their fight for liberation.
