Review of A Dream For Peace

A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a captivating biography that delves into the extraordinary life of a man who made remarkable contributions in various fields and across different countries. As I read through the pages, I couldn't help but marvel at the multitude of experiences he had encountered.
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's accomplishments are truly exceptional. Not only was he a crucial activist in Algeria's struggle for decolonization, but he was also the first scientist to propose the hypothesis later identified as the "Reverse Transcriptase Enzyme." Furthermore, he served as a Special Advisor to President Houphouët-Boigny and played a significant role in advocating for dialogue between Palestine and Israel. Throughout his remarkable journey, he interacted with historical figures such as Mao Zedong, Robert McNamara, Yasser Arafat, Golda Meir, John Paul II, and John F. Kennedy. Astonishingly, Dr. Berrah circled the world forty times and even had a love life filled with intensity, having been married three times.
