Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a heartfelt autobiography that describes the author's path to advocating peace in his life. This book looks at the author's arduous efforts throughout a lifetime to change the political landscape. The author gives an overview of the period of French colonial power in Algeria at the beginning of the book by describing his early years, including his parents, where he was born, and his family. A scholarship to study in France was awarded to him because of his academic success. Seeing racial injustice while practicing medicine sparked his interest in politics. He noticed in France the fervor to fight racism and prejudice against Algerians and other people from conquered nations. He also wrote about the hardships and problems he and his companions encountered while seeking to achieve freedom.
One aspect of the author that I appreciate is his dedication to strengthening pacific relations between Africans and the rest of the globe. We enjoy the experience of simulated time travel as he describes historical developments and offers advice on how to promote communal harmony. He was a doctor who also served as a revolutionary ambassador, a peace campaigner, and a freedom warrior. He continued by demonstrating that the best way to bring about peace is through discussion, rather than starting a conflict. Another thing I appreciate about the book is how many of the chapters have images. It made what had happened more understandable at the time. Dr. Berrah included images from various stages of his life in this book, along with some of his degrees.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was informative and easy to read. Although the only fault of this book is its length, apart from that, it is a great book with educational information. I was motivated by the author's unwavering and exceptional commitment to this book. The author's life narrative was flawless. He excelled academically in college and was a devoted husband to his wife. The literary style utilized in the book is fantastic. The accessible tone of the book, together with the clear sentence structures, make for a pleasurable reading experience. The author was successful in seizing readers' complete attention from the very beginning of the book.
There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book, A Dream for Peace, to lovers of memoirs and history.
