Tina Dreffin's memoir, Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa, details her voyages and seafaring experiences. We are allowed to experience her life through this book and learn about the struggles she faced, including being the victim of rape, dealing with workplace bullying, and many other traumatic events. Motherhood, mortality, love, and a host of other tender and fascinating subjects are all discussed in this book. This nonfiction book is about the author, Tina Dreffin, who decided to forgo the American dream to travel the world with her loved ones.

We learn about more than just her life at sea in this book; we also learn about her love life and what it's like to be the mother of two children, Adam and Warren. Tina, who eventually left her job in commercial real estate after meeting her partner, Peter, a friend of her older brother, is introduced in the book's opening chapter.

Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa is an interesting book with a loving plot, and I found some interesting factors while reading. First, I found the book's cover positive. I admire how its illustration goes hand in hand with the book's plot. My eyes were opened to a variety of activities and events that occurred on an adventurous voyage through Tina's book. I was occasionally enthralled by their varied encounters with various wild creatures. I respect Tina for not letting the anguish of experiencing sexual harassment, bullying, and child loss bring her down. Although she is initially damaged, she eventually learns to recover. Tina's strength, bravery, and composure in the face of resistance are qualities that should be admired.

After finishing this book, I noticed there was nothing bad about it. The book is exceptionally well-edited and easy to understand because the author took care to prevent typographical errors. Because there are no drawbacks, I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

Adult readers seeking adventure, departure, inspiration, and a hint of romance who don't mind the brief tales of rape, miscarriage, and abortion should read this book, in my opinion.
