Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a book that details both the author's personal life and his struggles for world peace. Dr. Berrah wrote in-depth accounts of his professional successes and the various steps he took to promote peace and harmony throughout Africa. Dr. Berrah was born in Algeria, which was a French colonial state. The author accepted a scholarship and traveled to France with the goal of furthering his education. As he was living in France, he enthusiastically joined in the struggle for freedom, despite having personally suffered bigotry. After finishing his studies, he felt a duty to assist Africa, so he went back and was appointed as Houphouët-Boigny's special advisor. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was the first scientist to propose a theory for reverse transcriptase enzymes.
I thoroughly appreciated the section where the author provided readers with specifics on his upbringing, family, and personal life. Because of its simplicity and clarity, the book is easy to read. I was impressed by the author's versatility in all settings and circumstances. The descriptive strategy used is intriguing. It makes things easier to understand. The numerous images and official records are a great addition to the captivating narrative. I'll also commend the author for his dedication and ability to give precise dates for the events mentioned in the book. I appreciate how the author provided sufficient visual evidence to back up his early life memories. It was easier for me to read because I was able to connect the descriptions of different occurrences.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and informative. Although the book is lengthy and some words are difficult to pronounce, apart from that, I enjoyed reading it. The author is a compassionate, dedicated, and forgiving person who risked his life for the sake of others. I commend the author for writing such a fascinating book. The author did not limit himself and settle for pain; he fought for what he believed in.
I enjoyed every aspect of this book. I relished reading it from the beginning to the end. It was a thoughtfully provocative book with essential information. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to readers interested in autobiographies and African politicians.
