A Dream For Peace is a personal biography of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah that traces his life journey. The narrative begins with his childhood but quickly picks up speed after he moved to France, became an activist, and had to flee after being pursued by the police. His main goal in life was to fight for the freedom of his motherland, Algeria. This was the main reason why he answered the call of Africa to support its development and independence. Follow the amazing life journey of Dr. Berrah, who was totally dedicated to working for peace.

This was a very intense and compelling read. The main concept of this book, that we should all set out to bring peace to the world, is laid out so thoroughly that it touched me deeply. We should all consider ourselves fortunate to have the honor of reading such an inspiring memoir. The way Dr. Ghoulem Berrah looked at life and the world was so optimistic and touching that it makes you want to stand up and do something about all the injustices so many people face every day. What I liked most was how humble Berrah remained throughout his life. That was enlightening.

I can't say I disliked anything about this book. I really loved it, and many things amazed me. For example, I noticed the author remembering details that shocked me, like his exact first address in France, or how a friend once took off his sweater to give to him in the cold, leaving him in short sleeves. It was really fascinating to read how much he could remember.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed it very much. The author's writing style is so fresh and easy to understand, which I think is essential for such a long book. It was truly a life worth writing about, and more people should read this memoir. The book is also exceptionally well edited.

I would recommend A Dream For Peace to anyone and everyone. It really is one of those books that I think you should read. It contains not only history, but also life lessons. And most importantly, it deals with a history that is rarely taught in schools. The only warning I can give is that it is a very long book, so be prepared for that. It's definitely worth it in the end, though.
