Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Surviving the business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is an informative guide filled with knowledge and useful insights on how to cater for health. From a perspective of a medical personnel, the author paints a useful view that is beneficial for people with severe health conditions or people with loved ones with chronic health problems. The author talked about how her father, who was also a medical doctor, was a source of inspiration that paved her path and purpose in life, which was to teach people about the Healthcare system and how they could possibly find medications that fall into their budgets. The book touched the aspect of insurance and how important it is to have health insurance. It also covers the interaction between doctor and patient.
This informative book is more than just a book. It is a useful guide that I am very lucky to have found. With the ever changing system of healthcare, this book has given me a perspective on how to cater for my health. I particularly, loved when she talked about insurance. She emphasised how absolutely necessary it is to have insurance and why people shouldn't take this lightly. Using her experience of when she had a sickness that almost sucked her funds dry, she recounts how insurance was her saving grace and how it paid for everything.
Her point of view is concise and not at all ambiguous. She covers every useful detail of Healthcare in a manner that would be absolutely comprehensible to a novice like me who knew nothing in relation to the Healthcare system. This book really helped broaden my horizon and it shows how good work can inspire others to do more just the way her father was once her source of inspiration.
I found no dislikes in this book. It is a very enjoyable and educative guide that is sure to get you thinking about your health. It is a commendable work that was professionally edited. It was well written by the author and it was written from a point of experience which brings added credibility to the work.
I rate this book five out of five stars because I found no errors and because it is filled with information that made me appreciate Healthcare and made me decide to do better in taking care of my health. I recommend this book for people going through health issues or just people looking to improve their health care.
