Apotheosis Now by Yanhao Huang is a book that has to do with the way we think as humans, what we accept into our minds, and the way we see reality.

This book centers on our happiness. Most times we see ourselves as someone who has achieved all that we want, but after everything, i.e., our hard work and stress, we won't still find happiness. Now everything goes back to the way we think. We always want to be above others, which makes us strive in order to achieve a certain height. Even when we have reached that particular height, we will still want to go higher so that we won't have a competitor. All this is controlled by our ego, which is our self-image. The author wrote about how this ego can be liberated in order to have a developed mindset about life as a whole.

As the author was writing, the author balanced the equation by carrying everyone along in terms of writing about the successful and the unsuccessful, the privileged and the less privileged, so that communication would be able to flow between the writer and the reader. This is one of the things I love about the book. Secondly, I love the way he gives examples for better understanding, even to the extent of narrating someone else's experience. In addition to that, he points out real facts about life and ourselves in terms of our egos. I also love the fact that the author was being sincere, when he stated that "the author's intention is not to cause a change, but the purpose of writing books is just to write ". I concur with this because people might read a book without getting changed. The author also provided solutions to the problem by writing about liberation, which made the book balanced.

From my own perspective, there was nothing I disliked about the book.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 because it is a book that is worth the rating. I recommend this book to those who are already of age because it teaches us about reality.
