For a better approach to anxiety and stress, I would recommend Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, M.D and Alexandra Gold, M.A. The book started off by defining the key terms and explaining in detail what they mean, their types, and to what extent they affect us as humans.

Initially, I was expecting the book to be filled with all sorts of medical terms, but to my expectation, the book was written in terms that can be understood easily; the medical terms were reduced to a minimum, and some were abbreviated, and some chemical terms were explained to their origin and where they could be found, which was not far fetched.

The book is educational and informative. The content was well written by knowledgeable authors who have been practicing for years and practical examples were provided for easy understanding.
Solutions to stress and anxiety were provided in detail, ranging from natural-based remedies to herbal-based remedies to nutrient-based remedies.

Stress and anxiety are feelings that we can't help but experience in our day-to-day activities, and they could be the result of an external or internal factor. It is important to note that they can be managed properly, and this book provides enough information on how to manage stress effectively.

I personally love the way emphasis was made at constant intervals on the importance of seeing a physician before administering any of the remedies due to differences in needs. The authors made a conscious effort to always state the limiting factor for every remedy so as not to mislead the readers into error.
Aside from that, the book also emphasizes the fact that stress and anxiety are not all bad; we only need to control them and learn to use them correctly since they are an important aspect of living.

This was something I didn't know before I read this book. A chapter was dedicated to the need for exercise and healthy eating habits, as well as a list of healthy foods that help relieve anxiety and stress, which will definitely guide our grocery list.

The book was wonderfully written, expertly edited, and free of profanity.

I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars for being an eye-opener. I can say that for me, I learned interesting details about physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing and how it affects how I handle stress and anxiety.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is curious about what anxiety and stress entail and to anyone who is finding it difficult to deal with stress and anxiety. These sets of people cut across all work sectors and all age groups.
