Reading this incredible memoir titled A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, a reader irresistibly tends to wonder how it's possible for a person to have so many experiences. There are millions of books around the world that are about different wonderful people who have done outstanding things in a particular area and overcome their various challenges.

What made Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's life incredible is the fact that he did lots of extraordinary things in so many fields and in diverse countries. Ghoulem is the first scientist to give a guess on what was later identified as the "Reverse Transcriptase Enzyme". He was not just a vital militant in the fight for liberation of Algeria, but he was also a Special Advisor of the President Houphouët-Boigny. Even after doing all this, he played a symbolical role in a relentless struggle to begin a discourse between the Israelites and Palestinians. He was close to different historical people, such as John Kennedy, Robert McNamara, Mao Zedong, and so many others during his incredible life. Ghoulem, at the end of the book, makes it obvious that he went round the world forty good times. His love life, which was not neglected, was intense. He married three times.

Ghoulem Berrah was a religious man who has always sought peace and tolerance. This simple act by him was what fascinated me. The book is so good to the extent that it unveils and describes different events that happen behind closed doors. And this is what made me fall in love with the book the more. He is a gifted man.

Even after I tried convincing myself to find something bad about the book, I didn't find even one fault. It was so pleasing to me. Some of the photos' quality was not good, but it is quite understandable because these pictures are several decades old. I can fairly say that this book is error free, though I found four grammatical mistakes. Excluding a wrong verb concord, the remaining errors are not relevant. Besides, no one can say that this book is not professionally reviewed.

In conclusion, A Dream for Peace deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The book is so captivating and uncovers so many behind-the-scenes secrets. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah had a wonderful and incredible life, and knowing more about what he achieved was a fabulous experience. Anyone who is so interested in learning more about the history of Africa after the period of decolonization should really read this book. In fact, I recommend it to everyone. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a decent and elegant man and author, so do not expect to see any rude words or even erotic contents in this book.

It's a well-written and educational review. I'm tempted to read the book myself because you give a fantastic account of the action without giving anything away.
